Terms of Service

1. Who we are

DressageScore (“DressageScore”, “we”, “us”) provides an online and mobile platform that lets dressage riders record, scan and analyse their competition scoresheets, and view related performance analytics. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of dressagescore.com, our mobile applications, and any related services (together, the “Service”).

2. Acceptance of these Terms

By creating an account or otherwise using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms and by our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service. If you are using the Service on behalf of an organisation, you confirm you have authority to bind that organisation to these Terms.

3. Your account

You must provide accurate information when creating an account and keep your login credentials confidential. You are responsible for all activity that happens under your account. Tell us immediately at hello@dressagescore.com if you believe your account has been accessed without authorisation.

4. The free tier

DressageScore is currently offered free of charge, with no credit card required, as described on our homepage. We may introduce paid plans or additional features in the future; if we do, existing free functionality will not be removed without reasonable advance notice, and we will update these Terms accordingly.

5. Your content and data

You retain ownership of the scoresheets, results, horse records, images and any other content you upload or enter into the Service (“Your Content”). By submitting Your Content, you grant DressageScore a limited licence to store, process and display it back to you, and to use it in aggregated or anonymised form to operate, maintain and improve the Service, including the AI scoresheet-scanning and analytics features. We will not sell Your Content to third parties. See our Privacy Policy for more detail on how we handle personal data.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• upload scoresheets, results or content that you do not have the right to use;
• attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or interfere with the Service or its underlying systems;
• use the Service to harass, defame, or misrepresent any judge, rider, association or third party;
• attempt to gain unauthorised access to another user's account or data.

7. Third-party associations and data

DressageScore references dressage and eventing associations (including Dressage Ireland, FEI Dressage, AIRC, British Dressage, British Eventing and FEI Eventing) and their published tests for identification purposes only. DressageScore is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated on behalf of these associations, and test content published by those associations remains their own property.

8. Disclaimers

The Service, including AI-assisted scoresheet scanning, score predictions and analytics, is provided “as is” and is intended to support your training — it is not a guarantee of competition results and should not be relied upon as the sole basis for any competitive, veterinary, or financial decision. We do our best to keep the Service accurate and available, but we do not guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error-free.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, DressageScore will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

10. Termination

You may stop using the Service and close your account at any time by contacting us. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we'll update the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, notify you directly.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Ireland.
